About the Artist
J. Loden was born in 1981 in Fujian District in China. He showed passion for drawing and painting at a very young age. In 2004, he studied at Xiamen University, majoring in Fine Arts. While attending art school J. Loden painted with all different types of mediums including water color, acrylic paint, mix media, and oil paint. Eventually J. Loden decided oil paint was his favorite medium. Oil paint was the best vessel to capture his ideas and express them onto canvas. J. Loden’s painting specialty is abstract and portrait paintings. His style expresses warm and friendly colors. The simplicity and bright colors he uses make his art easily approachable by all audiences. Jiang Lou works as an Art Studio teacher now and continues to paint full time creating new works daily. Jiang Lou introduced his work to the U.S Market in 2015, where his work is utilized by Galleries, Interior Design Firms, and Home Furnishing Stores across the country.
